Creative Exchange Studio is a program of About Families, a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to strengthening the Coachella Valley community. It opened September 2023 in Indio, CA at Mariposa Parent-Child Workshop, providing a space for makers to come together to create for the benefit of our community. Our first class is grant funded, free to all participants. Our goal is to continue making clay and craft education accessible to all.

What makes us unique is HOW we use our work after it is made. Used in special ceremonies, daily rituals, and community events, vessels mediate and define human interaction. How will you approach making art knowing that it has the potential to be the interface between people and relationships?
